Reproduction Policy
Orders are accepted in person, by telephone, letter, fax, or
e-mail. Please contact the rights and reproductions department
before sending payment to verify your order. Payment may be made by
cash, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), or by check or money order
made payable to The Athenĉum of Philadelphia. Discounts on
reproduction fees are available for Athenĉum members and PAB
subscribers. Please note that it takes 2 to 3 weeks to process
orders involving new photography and 1 week to process reproductions
from negatives on file.
Permission to reproduce material from the collection must be
granted in writing and is at the discretion of The Athenĉum. All
permission is granted on a per-use basis. Images may not be altered
(aside from cropping) without special permission. The user of supplied
photo-duplicated materials assumes all responsibilities for using them
in conformity with existing copyright laws, and may be required to
supply The Athenĉum with
a copy of any publication or project in which the images appear.
All
negatives and color transparencies remain the property of The Athenĉum.
The Athenĉum reserves the right to refuse to
reproduce any item in its collections.
