The Regional Digital Imaging Center was established by the Athenæum in 2004  to provide archival quality scanning services for its own collections as well as a diverse clientele of cultural and educational institutions, individuals, and organizations throughout the mid-Atlantic region. The RDIC is located at the Athenæum, in a secure, climate-controlled museum setting and is operated by an experienced staff accustomed to handling archival and museum materials.
